In the city of Mulongwe over 50 kids filled up a church building along with local community members to watch "The Jesus Film". This film illustrated to many about the life of Christ and the sacrifice he made for the sake of all humanity. Here are some photos showing the event. Please continue to pray for every church plant in Africa to receive a laptop, portable sound system, and projector as we aim to continue using this tool to minister the gospel to the lost.
We had some Muslim families come and pull their kids away. Some even spanking the children if they didn't go home.
Glory to God!! This is the sound that is coming out of CEPC Cedar Rapids as we are getting information on this years happenings. The CEPC churches in Africa have been hosting various conferences through out the year and over 3000 people have been attendance at each of the Africa conferences releasing more influence over their regions. Here are some videos from one of our conferences. We want to thank God for Open Bible Churches working with us as affiliates.
Powerful conference in Uvira, DR.Congo took place this week. Women from North and South Kivu Province came to experience the power of the Holy Spirit and the gospel being preached. Many took such long walks to where they had to sleep outside the conference room. Please continue to pray that the Lord would keep shaking that region with his love.

So as promised here are the latest changes to Community Evangelical Pentecostal Church (CEPC). Starting from here on, CEPC is officially an Open Bible Church. The Head Quarter Church in Cedar Rapids, Iowa has finished its affiliation processing with Open Bible and has been accepted into the Open Bible Ministry.
So the question now remains: What about all the other CEPC branches? The Founder Rev. Peter M. Shandakwa has returned from his visit to Africa. Part of this visit was to introduce the CEPC Branches in Africa with Open Bible. Now it will take a little bit of time but very soon every single branch will be affiliated with Open Bible.
We are now apart of a family that has strong biblical standings. From now on we all have a responsibility to not just pray for CEPC churches but also for all Open Bible Churches globally. So it is a suggestion for all CEPC leadership to start learning more about this new family we are apart of. With Open Bible we can now get better training to equip men, women, youth, and the entire leadership team. We now have encouragement blasting from CEPC churches and Open Bible Churches. After the CEPC Branches in Africa are adopted into Open Bible there is going to be a greater push in education so we can learn to harvest wisdom from scriptures in a way that will allow us to evangelize, preach, and live in a powerful and biblical way.
We are about releasing influence through love and we will continue to do so through Open Bible. We are still running with the International Constitution drafted by the CEPC HQ. When all Churches have been officially accepted into Open Bible, we will declare our Official Constitution to be the Open Bible Manual which has all that Open Bible stands for.
The Church structures remain the same until otherwise notified. There has been a few revisions in the Kentucky Branch since Pastor Issaya has stepped down. We are currently running investigations on what took place in Kentucky. All CEPC Churches will be updated via email and phone by HQ about who the new Head Pastor for Kentucky will be.
Continue to pray for the CEPC Humanitarian Initiatives/ Programs globally. Global Alliance for Orphans in Africa is in deep need of financial support and partners. There are churches that still need buildings in Congo and Burundi. We need to pray for the African HQ in Uvira that it gets a new building that will allow us to run an orphanage and clinic. We are also needing prayer for all CEPC churches to get training on running 24/7 houses of prayer. Prayer is needed for all leadership, churches, and friends around the world.
Thank you to the Open Bible leaders in Iowa that have helped us get where we are at right now. We want to thank all the families that are taking in orphans and taking care of them until an orphanage building is opened. Thank you to the Congolese, Kenyan, Tanzanian, Burundian, Zambian, and American Governments for working with CEPC since the founding of our ministry. We are receiving great favor in the kingdom and we pray that those who help us may be blessed as well. We can do great things in Christ, CEPC.
These photos were taken from a recent service in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Luvungi is in the Uvira district in the South Kivu Province. Members of this church have been growing year after year and God just keeps supplying. We ask that you continue to pray for all the branches in Congo and if you would like to help in any way fill the form bellow and we will respond to you as soon as possible.
When it's time to worship CEPC Cedar Rapids sets an example on how its done. Today's service was so filled with the Holy Spirit the youth even caught a wind of it and cried out to the Lord. Please join any of our branches near you to see what God is doing in his Kingdom. God Bless.
Acts 2:17-18 (NIV)
17 “‘In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
18 Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
and they will prophesy.
Please continue to pray for the Church in the Democratic Republic of Congo. They are in major need of financial assistance. Your prayers and support would be very much appreciated. The church is needing to purchase a facility that would help house orphans and also help with congregational meetings every week. This would be a multipurpose building which would also help with housing a place for different social activities to help the community members.
God Bless You All,
Community Evangelical Pentecostal Church
