How to donate & Why
We are needing more help from folks all over to donate to the African Immigration Relief Fund. We are getting more families moved into Cedar Rapids, Iowa and helping them get housing and jobs. Our job is to help them get to work when they first move here from what ever nation they come from. We also help educate them on how to drive and help translate documents for work applications and permit tests. This is a mighty job that needs financial support to continue. So far the Cedar Rapids branch is helping around 20 families a year and we can do more with your help. The Kentucky branch is also helping around 5-10 families a year get housing and jobs.
The immigrants that move here in the United States are here to get a taste of the American dream. Not only that they want to get involved in starting businesses and help the local communities by volunteering where ever they can. This is a win, win all the way around.
